My brother took over my computer for like 2 hours. What did I do with no laptop? I folded two baskets of my nephews clothes, labeled individual shelves, labeled where their shoes go, and then made a spot for their outfits for the next day to go. I also organized their backpacks, put up their old school work and then picked up their toys. I scare myself when without technology.
GAH. This is in a drawer across the room, and every time I look up from tumblr,
It. Is. Therrrre.
Waiting for me to look away again.
Today we received this in the mail. It’s a book written by my Great Aunt Ada. It’s a “chronicle” of my Papa’s family and their life as the family on the hill with 20 kids. It’s interesting so far, written in third person and telling the story from when my great great grandparents from my Mother’s side decided to come to California.
I have Irish and a dash of British (apparently no one’s exactly sure which type of British lol) from my Papa’s heritage, Cherokee and Irish from my Grandmother, and then from my Dad’s side I have Irish, Sioux, and a tad bit of German.

3. A photo that makes you happy
This was the last photo I took of my Papa and Grandma together. I saw them a lot after this but never got a pic. This was taken on Christmas 08. Papa passed away February this year. It’s such a beautiful pic, and I love the way my Papa’s hand is not quite touching my Grandma’s back, like he’s being protective from a distance, just like he is now. :)
